So we have a friend from Australia visiting, the lovely Linda. This is her second visit to America and we are over joyed to have her here.

So of course the first thing we do when we greet her is to sweep her off to go eat! We took her to the Nordstrom Bistro Cafe inside the huge Westfield mall. Now this probably doesn’t sound like the most gourmet meal but trust me when I say it is absolutely amazing. My mother and I have been going since I was a baby; it’s our little tradition. Whenever I go I order the crab bisque soup and it is simply divine. On the left is the crab bisque soup and on the right is a half order of the bistro sandwich. Whenever fries are included in an order, they come with a side of kalamata olive aioli. Which is possibly the most delicious thing ever.
